Learning to lead by serving
Blessed Sacrament School’s Builders Club held its first official meeting, bringing together students in grades 6–8 who want to make a difference in their school and community.
Members of Gem City Kiwanis, the club’s sponsor, joined the students to celebrate this beginning. Through Builders Club, students can develop leadership skills, plan service projects and discover what they can accomplish together.
Congratulations to the newly elected officers, who will help turn their classmates’ ideas into opportunities to serve.
A special thank-you to Lori Quivilon, the Builders Club’s teacher and sponsor, for guiding these students and helping create opportunities for them to put their ideas into action.
We look forward to seeing what these young leaders dream up—and to walking alongside them as they get to work.
One idea. One act of service. One young leader at a time.
